Update On WWE’s Immediate Plans For AJ Lee

AJ Lee hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since WrestleMania, and a new report suggests that we won’t be seeing her any time soon. Lee lost the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship to Becky Lynch on night one of WrestleMania Saturday. She has yet to appear on WWE programming since.

According to Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select, Lee is not expected to be back in WWE imminently. No further details were provided on how soon she might show up.

Lee has taken time off between her WWE appearances since she returned to the company in September. She was away from WWE for a time after her participation in the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series before she returned to feud with Lynch and won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber.
