Weapons Wild Match Announced For NXT Halloween Havoc

Myles Borne and Tavion Heights will do battle in a Weapons Wild match at NXT Halloween Havoc this coming weekend. It was announced on Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT that the two heated rivals will face off under the hardcore match stipulation at the PLE.

The match was set up during a face-to-face between the two in the ring. Heights and Borne were seperated by security with the “Spin The Wheel, Make a Deal” wheel ready to be used. The two cut a dueling promo where Heights accused Borne of only being out for himself during their whole friendship, and how Borne was a backstabber looking for someone to blame for his mistakes. Borne countered that he beat Ethan Page for the North American Championship on his own while Heights latched onto him because he couldn’t do anything on his own.

The two went back and forth a bit before they tried to come to blows. Danhausen’s voice was then heard saying to spin the wheel, and the result came up Weapons Wild.

A Weapons Wild match is an NXT-orignated hardcore/street fight-style stipulation with weapons positioned around the ring, all of which can of course be used.

NXT Halloween Havoc takes place on October 31st from the WWE Performance Center and airs live on The CW, ESPN Unlimited, and on Netflix internationally. We’ll have an updated card after the conclusion of WWE NXT.
