In a post on Instagram, the Body Alignment Clinic had an update on the currently sidelined AEW star Will Ospreay following his recent neck surgery. As previously reported, Ospreay was forced to take time off following Forbidden Door to deal with some herniated discs.
The wrestler and former AEW International Champion later underwent neck surgery last month. According to Ospreay, his surgery was successful.
The Body Alignment Clinic in Rainham, Essex later shared a message regarding Ospreay’s recovery. The caption reads, “@aew Allstar @willospreay 6 weeks post op and doing great! Still some way to go with but we’re on the right road. Jan 2026 🚀 🚨Don’t Try This At Home! #aew #willospreay #bodyalignmentclinic #teamstraightspine”
The post also features some post-op photos of Ospreay showing his recovery following surgery and his rehab process, which you can view on the Clinic’s Instagram account (see above link).
Will Ospreay Steps Away Following AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025
Ospreay last competed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 in August, wrestling alongside Darby Allin, The Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi), and Hiroshi Tanahashi in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match against the Death Riders.
Team AEW and Tanahashi were victorious in the matchup. However, the Death Riders continued attacking Ospreay after the match, attacking the wrestler’s neck and writing him off television.
It’s unknown when Ospreay will be able to return to the ring.
