Women’s Tag Team Title Match Ends In DQ On WWE Smackdown

The Irresistible Forces remain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships following WWE Smackdown after Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair got involved. Nia Jax and Lash Legend battled The Bella Twins on Friday’s show in the Bellas’ first-ever shot at the Tag Team Titles. The match went eight minutes long, with the Bellas about to win the match when Flair and Bliss got involved.

Late in the match, Nikki Bella locked the Fearless Lock in on Legend as Jax and Brie were on the outside. Jax went to go for a title belt shot at Brie but Flair cut Jax off and hit her with a forearm. That caused the referee to call for the disqualification, leaving Legend and Jax as the champions.

Nikki got in Flair’s face after the bell and when Bliss came to her partner’s aid, she got knocked down. It turned into a fight between the two teams until Jax and Legend took them both out. You can see highlights from the match below.

The Irresistible Forces’ title reign currently stands at 22 days. They won the titles from Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY on the February 27th episode of WWE Smackdown.
