Women’s Title Match Made Official For NXT Stand & Deliver

We officially have an NXT Women’s Championship match for NXT Stand & Deliver, courtesy of an announcement by Robert Stone. As reported, last night’s episode of WWE NXT ended without a definitive winner in the #1 contenders match between Kendal Grey and Lola Vice. The winner was set to challenge Jacy Jayne for the Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver; however, Vice was pinned by Grey at the same time as Vice made Grey tap out to the guillotine, and the show ended without an idea of who will challenge Jayne.
That all changed on Wednesday when NXT General Manager Robert Stone posted a video to Twitter. Stone announced that Jayne will defend her title against both Grey and Vice at the PLE this weekend.
“I know there was some confusion in the main event between Kendal Grey and Lola Vice,” Stone said says after putting over yesterday’s episode. “Kendal had Lola pinned, while Lola had Kendal in a submission hold. And as the referee in the ring was counting three, our head referee on the outside of the ring saw Kendal Grey tapping out.”
He continued, “After talking to Shawn Michaels, we’ve come up with this. At Stand & Deliver, Jacy Jayne will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against both Kendal Grey and Lola Vice in a triple threat match.”
You can see the full card below for the PLE, which takes place from the Factory at the District in St. Louis, Missouri. The show airs live on YouTube in the US and Netflix internationally.
