Worlds Heavyweight Title No. 1 Contender Match Set for NWA 78th Anniversary Show

The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) announced a new No. 1 Contender match for the NWA 78th Anniversary show set for later this month. The event will feature a five-way bout to determine the next No. 1 contender for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship (see below).

The matchup will feature Heath (formerly Heath Slater), Pretty Boy Smooth, Effy, Kratos, and Talos. The announcement reads, “THE HIGHEST STAKES A new No. 1 Contender will be crowned at NWA 78! As previously reported, WWE Superstar Nattie Neidhart is also set for action at the event. The NWA 78th Anniversary show is scheduled for July 25. It will be held at the 2300 Arena (formerly the ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
