WWE Files Updated Trademark on ‘Clash of Champions’ Event
WWE filed an updated trademark on its Clash of Champions this week with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (via Fightful). The USPTO filing was issued on Monday (Dec. 1) and is “awaiting examination.”
Per the filing listing on the USPTO’s website, “The trademark application has been accepted by the Office (has met the minimum filing requirements) and has not yet been assigned to an examiner.”
The trademark was issued for Goods & Services with the following information:

WWE debuted Clash of Champions as a pay-per-view event in September 2016. It continued annually, with the last one being held in September 2020.
