WWE News: Why WWE Isn’t Blurring Logos, Sable’s Birthday

August 8, 2012 | Posted by Jeremy Thomas

– WWE has recently stopped blurring out the “scratch logo” from the company’s Attitude Era. WWE had been editing them over the last decade due to the settlement of a lawsuit with the the World Wildlife Fund over the WWF initials. The company’s legal matters with the WWF were settled in the last quarter, clearing them to stop blurring the logo at least in part. Whether the restriction easing applies to complete matches and archive footage, or just video packages such as the ones on Raw, is unclear at this time.

– Sable turns forty-one today. There has been some dispute as to her age but she was, by her own admission, twenty-eight in the paperwork for her $110 million lawsuit against WWE for sexual harassment and unsafe working condition in 1999.
