An update on the status of WWE Night of Champions 2026. The premium live event is scheduled to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27.

The event’s status has been a talking point amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. However, according to PWInsider Elite [via Wrestling Observer], WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed during a recent Town Hall meeting that the June 27 PLE “is still on.”

“Regarding Saudi Arabia, we are told they said the June event is still on (as are other events down the line) and that they are not concerned about going there,” PWInsider noted.

The update is in line with what TKO President Mark Shapiro said during an investors’ call a few weeks ago. Shapiro said that TKO is “firmly moving ahead” with its scheduled events in the Middle East this summer. Apart from WWE Night of Champions, the company will present UFC Fight Night in Azerbaijan on June 27. You can check out his full comments HERE.
