WWE Smackdown Rating Hits 2018 Low, Viewership Down

– The rating for this week’s episode of Smackdown hit its lowest point of 2018. Tuesday’s episode had a 0.71 rating and 2.298 million viewers, down 8% and 6% from last week’s 0.77 demo rating and 2.436 million. The demo rating was the lowest since the December 12th, 2017 episode also scored a 0.71, while the audience was the worst since the Halloween episode had 2.119 million.
Smackdown ranked #4 among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. It was beat by the two NBA Playoff games on TNT (1.92 demo rating/4.953 million viewers and 1.51 rating/4.082 million viewers) and the NBA post-game show (0.84 demo rating/2.008 million viewers).
