WWE Smackdown Rating Hits Month High, Viewership Scores Six-Week Best

– This week’s episode of Smackdown hit the highest rating in four weeks, while the viewership hit a six-week best. Tuesday night’s episode scored a 0.81 in the 18 – 49 demographic, up 11% from last week’s 0.73. The audience was 2.699 million, a 16% rise from last week’s 2.32 million. The demo rating was the highest since the September 26th episode had a 0.82, while the viewership had the best number since the September 12th episode had 2.754 million.
Smackdown benefitted from not having sports to go up against for the first time in a while. It ranked #2 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, behind only American Horror Story: Cult (1.03 demo rating, 2.061 million viewers.
