Zozaya Debuts New Name of Romeo Moreno in NXT

WWE has actively been signing wrestlers from Europe for quite some time, including three names last year that are now coming to the forefront in NXT. Mike D Vecchio has become Dorian Van Dux. Aigle Blanc has become Elio LeFleur. The final wrestler of that particular group was Zozaya, who started off in Progress Wrestling & made a name for himself across the world in places like CMLL, NOAH, RevPro & other places on other continents.
Zozaya, who also signed with WWE last September, has gone through a number of names in NXT while waiting for his debut on television. This past weekend, he wrestled under the name of Romeo Moreno, and this appears to be the name he’ll be sticking with:
Zozaya va a llamarse Romeo Moreno en WWE. Era un nombre (Romeo) que él ya tenía en mente y había propuesto en los meetings.
Se ha llamado Zozaya, Mike Garcia, Jaime García… pero este es el definitivo. Y puede ser un paso adelante para el debut en TV. pic.twitter.com/TkCvceQQgw

It is not known when Romeo Moreno will be making his debut, but given the recent debut of Elio LeFleur on NXT, one can reach the conclusion that Moreno & Dorian Van Dux probably won’t be too far behind.
