Gail Kim vs Madison Rayne

World Title Series Match – Group Knockouts

Madison Rayne cuts the most racist promo I’ve ever seen on Impact, and I now hope she just loses for that. Collar and elbow to start, break up in the corner. Like seriously, I practice Ninajing whenever I fight a lady of Korean descent. Waistlock, Madison with the lock, pickup by Gail but Rayne for the takeover. Madison keeps the headlock on, crucifix on Rayne, one two, no. Rayne with the counter and one, two, no.

Back heel trip by Rayne two count only. Jacknife by Kim and a two. Rayne tries to work the crowd I MEAN SERIOUSLY NINJA QUEEN? Rayne sends Gail to the ropes and Kim with the float and rolling schoolgirl kicked out, Rayne lands the elbow through the ropes. Madison to the top no kick to the head through the ropes instead. Cover and a count, two, Gail reverses an arm twist to send Rayne on her face. Flying clothesline and a springboard crossbody two.

Kick from Rayne in the corner Gail with the handstand rana to send Rayne into the ropes. Gail charges for the crossbody in the corner and misses to FLY to the outside area! Rayne on the apron runs the kick Kim catches it and Madison’s face meets the stairs. That racist, racist face.

Gail Kim gets the pin once Madison kicks out at two. Back headlock over the throat for the submission, Rayne puts up a flurry of offense but Gail wears her down. Dragon Sleeper continues as Rayne sprawls and both hit each other. Rayne gets a two.

Gail Kim takes a shot from Madison, a series of strikes and Rayne enzugiri. Running crossbody cover but a two only for Rayne. Kick and an attempt at the Rayne Check no countered in an inside cradle and Madison Rayne is out of the tournament. That’s what you get for Ninja Queen.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Gail Kim at 11:16, Inside Cradle

Gail Kim has six points, Madison Rayne has three.

Matt Hardy Demonstrative

Hardy talks about how he was the first one to qualify for the 16. Matt says he’s the most qualified and the title that became his for the first time will become his for a second. Josh asks if he’s had any regrets to give up the belt. Matt says he can’t allow himself to rethink his choices. Pope asks if he’ll be taking the match off against Eddie Edwards. Matt says no, Edwards is the future. They talk about who Matt wants to face in the finals and he says the whole issue is about Ethan Carter III.

Jesse Godderz vs Eli Drake

World Title Series Match – Group Future 4

Eli Drake comes out dressed as He-Man, and trash talks Jesse for being similar… but he’s just a little bit better.

Godderz and Drake tie up, kick up by Drake from the takedown and both square to stand. Jawjacking as Drake yells a bit, and handshake attempt as Eli tries to play nice. They shake and both catch legs, Drake all smiles. Lockup, work to the side, handfuls of hair, as the Ref counts them to give and they go to the nose to talk some more. Jesse wants a test of strength, and Eli with the kneelift and Jesse under the arm butterfly suplex! Godderz with the shoulder off the ropes, Jesse sends Eli in and up Gorilla Press Slam but buckled the knee!

Eli smells blood and is in with the kicks and strikes, drops the knee to the leg, single leg for the drop down and pacing- botches a dragon screw and now winds the man’s leg into the ropes. Eli Drake gets shoved off but goes for the kicks to the injured knee. Jesse manages to shield his side and fires the rights, pickup and sidewalk slam.

Jesse does not cover, standing enzugiri on Eli! Arms trapped by Drake, two. Hands of tights, two. Hands of tights rollup by Jesse, seen by the Ref. Godderz strikes the lariat to send Drake outside. Eli through the shoulders, slingshot sunset flip but Godderz has the ropes and only gets a two as the Ref stopped his clutch. Eli picks up Jesse to sit him high, strikes and beaten down off the buckles. Crotches Godderz though and Eli for the pin, feet on the ropes!

OFFICIAL RESULT: Eli Drake at 6:48, Feet on the Ropes

Eli Drake has four points, Jesse has three.

Wacky antics with Ethan Carter III arriving in Nashville.

Eli Drake backstage says Jesse Godderz was told what would happen and he done did what he said he was gonna do. That is not an insult, that is just a fact of life.

Pope and Josh Matthews preview the next week. Bobby Roode faces Abyss, James Storm takes on Eric Young in Group TNA Originals, and Group Knockouts action will see Awesome Kong compete against Brooke.

Matt Hardy vs Eddie Edwards

World Title Series Match – Group Tag Team Specialists

Standing wristlock battle between the tag team specialists. Headscissors to the handstand escape from Eddie and a headlock both men up, Matt with the strike spit launching on Eddie, charge, legs caught and spun through the ropes, headlock drop after a few elbows.

Matt Hardy crashes the man in the corner, Side Effect by Matt two count only. Eddie Edwards tosses Matt Hardy over the side and launches the Suicide Dive! Eddie breaks the count and strikes the shot across the face of Matt! Chop across the ringpost as Matt moved!

Eddie hurting and Matt slams the hand across the stairs! Edwards tossed in under the bottom, head exposed and elbow meets its mark from Matt! Hardy for the Side Effect on the ring apron and Eddie counters with an enzugiri then hits the Desperation DDT on the side of the ring!

Matt and Eddie exchange shots inside the ring, Twist try by Matt shoved off both clock the clotheslines and they are down! Ref with the ten count obligatory like, uppercut from Matt as both wrestlers get to their feet, Matt sits up top and has the head, no struck by Eddie! Piggyback Stunner countered to a sleeperhold! SLAMMED by Matt and a two.

Matt in control, Twist shoved off and Eddie runs into a back elbow! Hardy again up top, Piggyback STUNNER! One, Two, NO.

Double Stomp avoided, body scissors rollover from the Twist, kickout! Another attempt by Eddie for the rollup kickout! Eddie again for the schoolboy no dice! Edwards up top, ran down by Hardy! Matt up top and locks the neck, Matt Hardy for the Twist of Fate off the top and that is it.

OFFICIAL RESULT: Matt Hardy at 12:02, Super Twist of Fate

Matt Hardy has nine points, Eddie Edwards has one.

Ethan Carter is in Nashville to deliver a fine from Bound For Glory by hand. His undisclosed sum, and meets Dixie in her office. It’s fine he’s family. Carter tells her since she’s going to rob him he might as well look her in the eye. Dixie tells him nobody recognizes him and he did it to himself. EC3 says he’s not a young lad, he’s a victory machine. He will be the World Champion whether you like it or not, and here’s your damn money. Carter leaves en route to Mr. Anderson tonight in our Impact Main Event.

Moments ago, Matt Hardy picked up the victory over Eddie Edwards and heads to the knock out round. Backstage Matt calls Eddie an old school brawler fighting for survival and is amazed the man didn’t break his hand.

Pope and Josh talk about Robbie E versus Jesse Godderz and says Robbie will not make it. Out of Awesome Kong and Eric Young Kong would win. Of course the Knockouts will not face the men until the next round once group play is over.

DJZ vs Mandrews

World Title Series Match – Group X-Division

Mandrews and Zema trade jumps and floats but DJ gets caught on the atomic drop, reverse body scissors and an armdrag to send Zema outside. Mandrews out and gets a moonsault off the stairs. DJZ back inside, Mandrews misses the slingshot attack to get two, then a backslide again. Mandrews shows off and DJZ monkeyflips him on his neck.

Tie up in the ropes gets two, DJ lands a back elbow. Springboard back elbow to the face of Mandrews, and follows up to the apron with a jump inside to a kick, Mandrews with the enzugiri! Mandrews hurricanrana, two count only!!

Knees to the corner Elijah Express- Mandrews sits DJZ up top! Shoved down and runs to kick DJZ! Mandrews climbs up and Frankensteiner! Standing Shooting Star, two! Two again! TWO AGAIN!

Mandrews to the top but gets pulled into a schoolboy! Two only and Mandrews attacks Z, gets caught in the Hostile Makeover for a two!

Zema for the hair, head to the buckles DJZ up top, Mandrews stands and Shooting Star Press lands but Mandrews gets taken over into the cradle! Mandrews is out of the World Title Series.

OFFICIAL RESULT: DJZ at 5:51, Cradle

DJZ has six points, Mandrews has zero points.

Earlier Mahabali Shera likes to work out to music so that was a promo.

Pope and Josh talk once again about scenarios, win or go home. James Storm and Eric Young will meet up as both are on the bubble. He says with Young and Storm he has to side with Storm the next week. The following plays:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2x5TCCLnAQ4

Pope reverses his pick and chooses Eric to beat James Storm the next week.

Crimson vs Micah

World Title Series Match – Group Future 4

They replay the matches from Future 4 that sees Drake gain four points. Micah went one on one with Crimson. The big man says one on one, business is in the blood of Micah as he is the son of Haku. But tonight they go to battle and he’s the only one who’s been to war. Crimson walks out the winner.

Micah would hit the Samoan Drop and win. Happy Veteran’s Day.

Micah has four points, Crimson has zero.

Ethan Carter III from India, could be the Gate of India, could be the Kanheri Caves. Perhaps even the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus. Either way, he’s found the time to cut a promo because he IS the face of the company. He’s on a gravy train with biscuit wheels. Mr. Anderson will not spoil him not now, not in the US, not in India, not ever. Josh mentions the Semi Finals of the World Title Series will take place in Mumbai Maharastra, India this December.

Drew Galloway states Bound For Glory cost him the title for reasons he won’t get into. The World Title Series gave him a chance. Drew is back in Scottland and completely focused on becoming World Champion. He will sacrifice everything to advance.

Next week Brooke will face Awesome Kong. Eric Young will take on James Storm. Bobby Roode will face Abyss. Win and you’re in, the Round of 16.

Video montage of Ethan Carter III and Mr. Anderson. EC3 campaigning for the title and Anderson interrupting him to tell him you don’t politic, it took him 11 years. Their Falls Count Anywhere fight from May 8th as Anderson attempted to beat the streak. It is time for your Impact main event report from 411wrestling.com.

Ethan Carter III vs Mr. Anderson

World Title Series Match – Group Champions

Ladies and Gentlemen…

Carter (with Tyrus at ringside) steps in to stand off with Mr. Anderson. Ken sends strikes into Carter, slapping the knife edges but Ethan gets shot across the ring and throws up the elbow! Anderson gets chopped but reverses! Slap the edge and Anderson on Carter, whip but Carter caught the ropes and slips outside to break up the flurry.

Returning from our final break we find Anderson chopping the hell out of Ethan on the floor. Tyrus comes close to provide distraction as Ethan escapes into the ring but makes his way into the knife edge. Anderson mounts and strikes as Carter fights for freedom. Tyrus gets attacked by Anderson who ducks the clothesline and slams Carter down with a lariat of his own. Anderson chokes the man across the second rope, hits the running sit across the back in the ropes.

Anderson watches both as he beckons for Carter, Mic Check no taken through the rope and both men back on the outside floor. Tyrus comes closer as Earl checks on Ethan. Anderson climbs and Tyrus sweeps the legs from behind, Anderson crumpling to the floor.

Ethan comes outside and runs Anderson back into the apron! Ethan pulls Anderson up to the apron and Suplexes him back in the hard way. Floats into the cover hooks the leg no two count only.

Ethan wraps the waist and bearhug from behind, trying to wear the veteran Anderson down.

Carter adds a knee to the guts and a double stomp for good measure!

Head is grabbed, pickup and front layout suplex! One two, no. Anderson for the ropes and Ethan with the knee in the back of the neck, whip and sends Anderson cross corner hard! Ethan sits on Ken and wraps the headlock, thusly making him humble. The fans get into it for Anderson as we have five minutes left.

Carter strikes Anderson and swings and misses as Anderson flies over with the schoolboy! Double Clothesline from both pro wrestlers! Carter and Anderson slam strike into each other’s head, and Ken Anderson out punches Ethan, clothesline and catches his swinging neckbreaker! Anderson has Ethan Carter up and Lambeau Leap! Ken to the top and KENTON BOMB!!

Anderson one two, NO a kickout at two as Ethan stays alive.

Mr. Anderson for the Mic- Ethan breaks it free and Stinger Splash into the legs! No legs caught Anderson kicks him away, Ethan strikes him to sit up top! Ethan gets a few elbows as he’s trying for the 1 Percenter off the top! ANDERSON LANDS THE LAMBEAU LEAP OFF THE TOP!!

COVER! ONE! TWO! TYRUS DRAGS ETHAN OUT!

Two Minutes Remaining as Anderson rolls out, he takes a chair, and Anderson beats the man with a chair across ringside! Anderson tosses the chair inside and standing tall, he throws the chair and gets a lowblow from Ethan! 1 Percenter countered into the Mic Check, CARTER reverses with a Jacknife! ONE, TWO, THREE!!!

OFFICIAL RESULT: Ethan Carter III at 14:52, Jacknife Pin

Ethan Carter III has seven points, Mr. Anderson has zero.
