New Lawsuit Reveals WWE Gives Cities Letter Grades

– A new lawsuit filed by WWE in California to prevent unauthorized merchandise from being sold at WrestleMania 31 has revealed that WWE labels their touring cities with letter grades. The full lawsuit is here, although Indeed Wrestling has the letter grade details which you can see below.

The cities are labeled due to how well they draw and go from an A to a C grade. Some cities are listed multiple times because the attendance can be different for whether it’s a TV taping or a house show. The categories and city list follow:

Grade Definitions:
A: 70 examples (minimum: 3,500; maximum 15,913) – average: 9,235
B+: 32 examples (minimum: 3,122; maximum 14,481) – average: 7,608
B: 48 examples (minimum: 2,626; maximum 12,717) – average: 6,496
C: 61 examples (minimum: 2,230; maximum 6,996) – average 4,546
Overall Average: 7,002
