WWE News: NXT Aftershock Attendance, Big Cass Injury Update

– According to the WON, the NXT shows at the Aftershock Festival were watched by as many as 1,200 people. There were 700 seats in the venue and standing room was packed.
– WWE.com posted an article saying that Big Cass was injured at the hands of The Mechanics during the episode of NXT that aired on Wednesday night. However, Cass worked the Aftershock Festival shows and the injury is believed to be an angle.
The WWE.com report said that Cass’ injury was a sprained MCL and bone bruise in his left knee, comparing it to the injury Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered in September. It put Cass’ “recovery time” at four to six weeks.
