WWE NXT Women’s Championship Match Stopped After Ruby Riot Busted Open

– The NXT Woman’s Championship match at the UK Download Festival on Friday was stopped after one of the competitors was busted open. As you can see in the posts below, Ruby Riot took a bump onto steel steps and got busted open, which she confirmed in a Facebook Live chat with Kayla Braxton.

Riot said she needed to get five stitches due to the injury. She said she went into the match believing that Asuka would play fair but Asuka slammed her head into the steps, which she said put a different side of Asuka on display. Riot said she can use this new side of Asuka to her advantage going forward.

Ruby v Asuka at Download match got cancelled. Asuka legit smashed open Ruby's head and there's blood everywhere. Ref called up for the X!
