Jim Carrey Becomes Dr. Robotnik In Sonic the Hedgehog Featurette

Jim Carrey is hitting screens on Friday as Dr. Robotnik in Sonic the Hedgehog, and a new featurette looks at his taking on the famous role. You can see the video below courtesy of Paramount Pictures, in which Carrey talks about taking on the role of Robotnik and features some new footage from the film. The movie also stars James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, and Adam Pally and hits on Friday.

Sonic The Hedgehog is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination.
