John Carpenter Says Halloween Kills Has a Kill Count Unlike Anything He’s Seen
We won’t be seeing Halloween Kills until next year, if John Carpenter is to be believed then the kill count will be worth the wait. Carpenter spoke with Indiewire for a new interview and gave a brief update on the film, which David Gordon Green is directing.
“The cut is done,” Carpenter said. “They’ll mix it in New York in the next week or so. Then it will be in the can. My work is all done. The movie is something else. It’s fun, intense and brutal, a slasher movie times one hundred, big time. It’s huge. I’ve never seen anything like this: the kill count!”
The film was announced today as being delayed to October 15, 2021. It will star Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Robert Longstreet, Anthony Michael Hall, Kyle Richards, and Charles Cyphers and follows on the events of the 2018 Halloween.
