Chris Masters Might Be Open To Working With AEW
After his 2011 release from WWE, Chris Masters joined with Impact Wrestling before landing at his current promotion, NWA. In a recent interview with So Catch, Masters shared his thoughts on his current career goals, and indicated he’d be open to working with any promotion that enabled him to pursue those goals to the fullest extent (via Wrestling Inc). You can find some highlights from Masters and watch the full interview below.
On if he’d consider working with AEW: “I’m with NWA, wrestling, and that’s where my focus has been over the last year, but I’m not shutting my door on anybody because, again, my goal is to promote Chris Adonis, as we call me now, ‘The Masterpiece’ Chris Adonis, [and] to have the best matches of my career.”
On his current ‘whatever works’ approach to wrestling: “The bottom line is, my love is to the art of professional wrestling regardless of what banner that is under.”
