Jeffrey Wright To Reprise Role of Isaac In The Last Of Us Season 2
Jeffrey Wright is returning to the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of Us for the HBO adaptation’s second season. Deadline reports that the Westworld and American Fiction star is set to to play Isaac, the role he voiced in The Last Of Us Part II, in season two of the HBO series.
In the game, Isaac is the leader of a large militia group called the Washington Liberation Front. Wright joins a season two cast that includes Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Rutina Wesley, Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny. Catherine O’Hara will also guest star in season two.
The second season is set to debut next year on HBO, and will be available to stream on Max. It follows on the events of the first season, which broke records as the channel’s most-watched debut season ever.
