TMZ has an update on the recent arrest of Artem Chigvintsev on felony domestic battery. Chigvintsev, the husband of WWE Hall of Famer and former Superstar Nikki Garcia (aka Nikki Bella), was arrested on Thursday, August 29 and charged with felony domestic battery. According to the update, the Napa County Sheriff’s Department has turned over the case to the Napa County District Attorney to review the case.

Napa County D.A. spokesperson Carlos Villatoro reportedly informed TMZ that no decision has been made yet on charges for the Dancing with the Stars alum, and the office is currently in the process of reviewing the case. The D.A.’s. office reportedly plans to make a decision after a thorough review, which will then be followed by a public announcement.

Additionally, Villatoro stated that the D.A.’s office still needs to review witness statements, footage of the alleged incident, photos taken by the police, and any other information found by authorities during their investigation. Chigvintsev is scheduled to be arraigned on November 4.

During a radio dispatch call, Chigvintsev made a call for medical assistance. He later called back, asking for paramedics not to come. Police later responded to the call, arresting Chigvintsev at the scene. TMZ reports that Chigvintsev was arrested for a visible injury to Garcia after allegedly attacking her.

The incident took place after Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia celebrated their wedding anniversary earlier last week. They also share a four-year-old son together, Matteo. Their relationship was also featured on several reality shows on the E! Network.
