Host City for NXT and MLW Currently Flooded Due to Hurricane Milton
October 10, 2024 | Posted by
PWInsider reports that St. Petersburg in Florida, the host city for regular NXT and MLW events, is currently flooding due to Hurricane Milton. As previously reported, the storm is causing severe damage to the Sunshine state, notably tearing off the roof of Tropicana Field. It caused a crane to collapse and a water main broke, which means the city had to shut off drinking water. As of late last night, the city had sixteen inches of rain, which is said to be a “1 in 1000 year” event.
WWE has already cancelled live NXT events that were scheduled for this weekend. MLW was set to hold their Slaughterhouse event several weeks ago.
