Elijah Loved His TNA Debut, Says It Came Off ‘Fantastic’

Elijah is very happy with how his TNA debut was executed, describing it as “a total blast.” The WWE alumnus made his debut on the February 20th episode of Impact, coming out to the ring and confronting the newly-arrived Colons just before they attacked Joe Hendry. Elijah, who has signed with TNA, appeared on Busted Open Radio and shared his thoughts on his debut there. You can see highlights below (courtesy of Wrestling Inc):
On his Impact debut: “If I could imagine how would I like to enter a brand new company, it couldn’t have been anymore ideal than that. Joe Hendry setting the stage, of course as Dave says, there’s that association already, and for the lights to go out, the crowd to lose their minds, that’s the most fun for me, playing with the crowd. Was just a total blast man, and for it to come off that way was fantastic.”
On making sure he didn’t mess up his first guitar strum in TNA: “Strum clean, I don’t want to have some sort of weird sound before I strum … make the patented E minor strum, I wanted it to be clean, so that everybody that hears that, they know what’s coming.”
On being part of the TNA roster: “The people, the crew, the crowd — TNA is fantastic. Love everybody there.”
On Tommy Dreamer pitching the idea for his TNA arrival: “The stage was just set perfectlyI think the crowd reaction spoke for itself. It was just a total blast, man, so that’s what it’s been like so far. I got no complaints.”
