Official Trailer Debuts for Zach Cregger’s Terrifying New Film Weapons

Warner Bros. Pictures debuted the official trailer to the upcoming ensemble horror feature, Weapons. The new feature comes from Barbarian filmmaker Zach Cregger, who directs from his own screenplay. You can view the new trailer below.

The story follows a town where all but one child from the same class mysteriously vanish on the same night at exactly the same time. The community is left questioning who or what is behind their disappearance. The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, with Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan.

Cregger also produces the feature, along with Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules. Michelle Morrissey, and Josh Brolin are executive producing the project. The filmmaker’s creative team behind the camera includes director of photography Larkin Seiple, production designer Tom Hammock, editor Joe Murphy and costume designer Trish Sommerville, with a score by by Ryan Holladay, Hays Holladay, and Zach Cregger.

Warner Bros. Pictures releases Weapons in theaters and IMAX on August 8 in the U.S. and internationally in August 2025.
