Marvel’s Wolverine Trailer Debuts Online, Due Out on PS5 in Fall 2026

Snikt, bub. Just over four years after the game was first announced at PlayStation Showcase 2021, Insomniac Games and Sony PlayStation have finally revealed the trailer for long-awaited Marvel’s Wolverine video game. From the same development team behind the Insomnaiac Spider-Man gamerverse series, Wolverine is an all-new take on the iconic Marvel Comics character.

The new trailer offers the first official look gameplay footage, plus new in-game cinematics. There are also glimpses of the game’s version of Omega Red, Mystique, and even a Sentinel. The story follows Wolverine (performed by Liam McIntyre) as he searches for answers about his past, as he seeks to do whatever it takes to cut through the mystery of who he used to be.

Marvel’s Wolverine is developed by Insomniac in collaboration with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment and built from the ground up for PlayStation 5 console. It’s due out exclusively on PS5 in Fall 2026. Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager Aaron Jason Espinoza also announced on the PlayStation blog that more details on the upcoming game will be revealed later in Spring of next year.
