It appears the contracts might soon be due on some other TNA title holders. Fightful Select reports that the contracts for the current reigning TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions, The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jess McKay), run through only this weekend’s TNA Bound for Glory 2025, after which they will reportedly expire.
Fightful reports that the tag team, formerly known as The IIconics (aka Peyton Royce and Billie Kay) in WWE, were signed to short-term deals by TNA Wrestling. They managed to Knockouts Titles for the second time on last week’s edition of TNA Impact after beating The Elegance Brand to win the belts.
Fightful Select also notes that the sources they’ve spoken to in TNA have expressed interest in keeping The IInspiration under the TNA banner, and they expect a new deal to get signed. The reigning champs are currently slated to defend their titles in a rematch against the former champions, The Elegance Brand, later this weekend at TNA Bound for Glory 2025.
The title rematch takes place on Sunday, October 12 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. It will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.
