Former WWE Evolve Wrestler Jin Tala Set To Make Her Beyond Wrestling Debut Next Month

Beyond Wrestling announced today that former WWE Evolve wrestler Lady Leigh (aka Jin Tala) will make her Beyond debut at the Novembercanrana supershow scheduled for next month. The event is scheduled for Friday, November 14 at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet in Cranston, Rhode Island.

As previously reported, Lady Leigh was among the WWE talent releases from earlier this month. She initially appeared on the first season of WWE LFG as Leigh Laurel before joining WWE Evolve, renamed as Jin Tala after signing an Evolve contract in May.

During her time on WWE Evolve before her release, she defeated Layla Diggs and Carlee Bright before losing a title bout against Kali Armstrong, which aired in July.

Following her WWE release, Lady Leigh issued a statement via her social media, indicating she wasn’t done wrestling and that she wasn’t giving up on her career. She wrote on her release, “Maybe it came down to timing, did I break down those walls quick enough? Maybe I was just an unrecognizable name on a list, or maybe they just don’t see what I see in myself.”

Lady Leigh added, “At the end of the day, the only person I have to prove my worth to is me. I’m not giving up. Jin Tala may be no more. But Leigh Laurel has always been a fighter.”
