Before recent allegations disrupted her career, Masha Slamovich was reportedly on WWE’s radar for a possible signing with either NXT or the main roster. According to a report from Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, WWE officials had shown interest in the wrestler, though the depth of that interest remains unclear.
At the same time, Masha Slamovich was believed to be considering her future in TNA, where her contract was nearing expiration. Sean Ross Sapp noted that she might have gone to WWE or NXT, stating, “There was some interest there.”
However, before those plans could materialize, serious domestic abuse allegations surfaced, prompting TNA to order an internal investigation in September. Sean Ross Sapp, however, believes Slamovich’s return to TNA is not off the table, noting there is a “path” to her returning to TNA, noting that the person who made the allegations against her has said that he wants her career to continue.
How her career will progress remains uncertain, as various promotions such as TNA, West Coast Pro Wrestling, Prestige Wrestling, Metroplex Wrestling, and Top Talent Wrestling have pulled her from their upcoming shows. After the allegations, Slamovich has issued one official statement, which can be seen below.
