A WWE college recruit is taking her next steps on the road to becoming a WWE Superstar. PWInsider Elite (via Fightful) reports that WWE has signed one of its Next In Line (NIL) athletes to an updated contract. Per the report, Meghan Walker has been signed to a reported “Performance Center” contract.
Walker was previously signed to WWE under an NIL deal earlier in the summer. She was among 12 athletes signed to the program in June, along with the sons of Scott Steiner, Mark Henry, and Titus O’Neil.
Meghan Walker is a track and field athlete who hails from Brandon, South Dakota. She competed in track and field for the University of Nebraska.
The WWE NIL program is part of WWE’s developmental system to scout potential talents. The NIL program exclusively supports college athletes who decide to train as wrestlers. Other recent NIL signees include Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, and the cousin of current WWE Superstar Bron Breakker. Rechsteiner plays for the Jacksonville State Gamecocks as a Wide Receiver.
Also signed to the program is TJ Bullard, the son of WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil. He plays football for the University of Central Florida.
