Naomichi Marufuji Says He Filmed a Project With Netflix

Naomichi Marufuji has revealed that he filmed a new project with Netflix, making the reveal on social media. The Pro Wrestling NOAH star posted to his Twitter account to share a photo of himself at a Netflix office.
Marufuji wrote (as translated by Google):
“The other day, I went to Netflix for a certain shoot!
Seriously, it was just pure heaven for me. Way too perfect.
Full details will be announced later! Everyone, look forward to it”
Marufuji is a multi-time champion in Pro Wrestling NOAH, including four GHC Heavyweight Championship and 10 GHC Tag Team Championship runs. He just recently lost the latter titles, which he held with Kenoh, to to Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI at Pro Wrestling NOAH The New Year 2026 on January 1st at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, Japan. He is also a two-time GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion and a former GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. Marufuji teamed up with Shuhei Taniguchi on NOAH’s Lethal Odyssey tour, losing to Manabu Soya and Shuji Kondo.
Netflix is media partners with WWE, carrying WWE Raw live worldwide and serving as the home for NXT, Smackdown, and WWE PLEs overseas. There’s no word on what Marufuji filmed for the company at of this writing.
