Update on Tom Brady’s Potential Involvement at WrestleMania 42

Tom Brady has recently appeared in the news talking smack about WWE and pro wrestling in general. He’s been saying the usual things one hears from non-wrestling fans and has exchanged some words with WWE’s Logan Paul while hyping up their recent flag football event that took place over the weekend. Other wrestlers have gotten involved in the smack talk to defend their business & take shots at some of the controversial events in Brady’s legendary professional football career.

There’s been speculation that all of this is leading to Brady making an appearance at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas’s Allegiant Stadium, which happens to be the home of the NFL’s Raiders. Brady is currently a part-owner of the Raiders, so he’s familiar with the venue.

Dave Meltzer recently commented on the Brady/WWE situation on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying WWE is in negotiations with Brady to appear at WrestleMania. Here’s what Meltzer had to say about it:

“From what I have been told, they are in negotiations with Tom Brady, but there is absolutely not a deal at this point for Tom Brady. So it could happen. Obviously, Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working. I mean, everyone knows they’re working the angle, I think people have seen that coming in. But there could be something in some form at WrestleMania, it would not be a surprise.”

“And what they did in the football game was clearly to build it. Just as all the talk of, you know, Tom Brady cutting down pro wrestlers and the wrestlers all responding, that is all storyline. That is not like Tom Brady’s a d*** and he doesn’t respect pro wrestling.”

WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 18 & 19 in Las Vegas, and as we get closer to the event we’ll certainly hear more from Tom Brady and WWE Superstars trying to get the rub from him.
