Elio LeFleur is officially on the mend, with the WWE NXT star announcing that he has undergone surgery for his shoulder injury. LeFleur posted to Twitter on Tuesday to announce that he had undergone successful surgery for the injury, which was suffered at an NXT live event last month.
LeFleur wrote:
“Surgery was a success.
See you soon.”
LeFleur suffered the injury at the March 20th live event and was reported to have an arm in his sling after the show. It was announced on last week’s NXT that he was going to be out for six months due to tears in his shoulder.
LeFleur relinquished the WWE Men’s Speed Championship as a result of the injury. A tournament will kick off on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT to determine a new champion. The show airs live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida on The CW in the US and on Netflix internationally.
On behalf of 411, our best wishes to LeFleur for a quick and full recovery.
