Persephone Targets Triangle Of Madness In Post-AEW Collision Promo

Persephone is feeling a certain kind of way after her loss on last night’s AEW Collision, and she’s putting the Triangle of Madness in her sights. As noted, Persephone suffered a loss to Hazuki in their first-round Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match on Saturday night’s show. After the match, Mercedes Mone attacked her.

Persephone appeared in a backstage video posted after the show. She reacted to her loss, her confidence shaken a bit, before she turned her attention to Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue, who she’s had some run-ins with.

“I’m a god, I’m a god,” Persephone began, banging a locker. “I said I could wrestle blind; I said I could wrestle with my hands tied behind my back because I’m a god. But maybe I was wrong. Maybe I’m not a god? Maybe — because I tried it and I failed. But maybe I went too fast, maybe I pushed myself too hard. Maybe I wasn’t ready but I just — I was sick of it. I was tired of being at home week after week watching championship matches slip away, getting pulled out of important shows. I just couldn’t take it anymore.”

She continued, “So I had to risk it, and I lost, I lost. No, this god isn’t dead yet. No, this god will never die, and I need to keep risking it. I will keep risking it until I get what I want. So we need to go back to the start. Triangle, Thekla, Julia, Skye, it’s not gonna be an eye for an eye. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It’s an eye for all of your asses.”
