Jordynne Grace vs. Giulia

-We are still overseas (France) as the crowd is singing and chanting for Giulia. Grace knows what to do and plays the heel as she slaps Giulia in the face. They start trading slaps and it’s pretty awesome actually. Boot to the chest by Giulia. She hits a running tackle in the corner and then a kick to the back. Jumping kick to the face! That looked great. Missile dropkick for two. Grace blocks a suplex and counters a head scissors with a release suplex for two. Grace misses a charge in the corner, but floats over to the apron. They both meet up top and Giulia gets a double under hook superplex. Nice! They get face-to-face and start trading slaps and forearms. Giulia picks up the pace and hits a basement dropkick. She stomps Grace headfirst into the mat. That looked brutal. Grace floats over and hits Snake Eyes. Package Piledriver position but opts for a sit-out powerbomb for two. Grace looks frustrated. Giulia ducks a punch and lands a Saito Suplex. Grace with a roll-up for two and transitions into a Stretch Muffler. SOS Slam by Grace. They start trading strikes again and Giulia hits arrivederci and then a Northern Lights Bomb gets the pin at 6:33.

Winner: Giulia via pin at 6:33
-MAIN EVENT BANGER! This was great and gets my vote for Main Event Match of the Year to this point. Hot crowd that was fully behind Giulia and credit to Grace for knowing what to do in that position. Check this one out! ***1/2

Dorian Van Dux vs. Rayo Americano

-DVD is from Evolve and had a great match on LFG a few weeks ago against Elio LeFleur. If Elio wasn’t injured, I guarantee he would have been on this show and received a massive reaction. DVD chant from the Paris crowd. Stalemate sequence to start and the crowd applauds. DVD offers a handshake, but Rayo slaps him in the face. DVD with a side headlock. He gets shoved off and then snaps off a head scissors. Charge meets boot in the corner. Rayo off the ropes with a head scissors that sends DVD to the floor. Rayo goes for a moonsault off the apron, but DVD rushes back in the ring to avoid and hits a suicide dive. Sling shot leg drop gets two. Can we have Main Event from Paris every week? DVD climbs the ropes, but take too long as he got lost listening to the crowd. Rayo knocks him off balance and hits a top rope rana for two. Meteora misses in the corner. DVD springs in with a dropkick and hits a slam. Heavy clothesline to the back of the head followed by a belly-to-back suplex for two. Rayo slides out of a suplex and hits a step-up enziguiri. He runs into a knee. DVD off the ropes, but Rayo avoids a moonsault. DVD tries again, but Rayo swats him out of the air. Suplex into a release slam gets two in a strong near fall. Shooting Star Press misses and Ray hits Bitter End for the pin at 4:55.

Winner: Rayo via pin at 4:55
-Another MAIN EVENT BANGER! Not as good as the opener but still a really strong match and the crowd response only added to it. ***

Roxanne Perez (w/ Raquel Rodriguez) vs. Maxxine Dupri

-Roxanne knocks Maxxine off the apron before the opening bell. Raquel sends her back into the ring and now we get the bell. Maxxine fights back and gets a slam as she sells her arm. Raquel with a trip and Roxanne attacks from behind. Roxanne goes to work on the arm and plays to the crowd. She drops a knee to the arm and gets a two count. She drives Maxxine to the mat by the arm for a two count and mocks the crowd again. Wrist-lock and she makes me laugh by slapping hands with Maxxine as she is trying to break her arm. Funny! Roxanne with a Russian Leg Sweep for two and the back to the arm. Maxxine gets to her feet and stomps Roxanne in the face until she releases. Spinning kick followed by a suplex. The straps are down and Maxxine hits a Pump Kick that was mostly a knee. Step-up leg drop gets a two count. Maxxine heads up top and kicks Raquel off the apron. She then flies to the floor with a cross-body onto Raquel. Back in she catches Roxanne charging and gets an ankle lock. Roxanne pulls the ring skirt into the ring. That gets the focus off the ref and lets Roxxane rake the eyes. Becky may have a point about Carr’s ability as a ref. The eye rake leads to a head kick and then Pop Rox finishes at 5:49.

Winner: Roxanne Perez via pin at 5:49
-Roxanne kind of dominated this one with Maxxine just getting some flashes of offense. This was a solid match and again, the crowd was hot for everything. **1/2

-Thanks for reading!

The final score: review Very Good

The 411

Best Main Event of the year as we had two wonderful matches and a fantastic crowd for all three. I would have put the Giulia/Grace match last, but this is Main Event so match position doesn't really matter. Go out of your way to watch this week as we got the Main Event Match of the Year with Grace and Giulia.
