UFC has announced that Freedom 250 reached an estimated global audience of 34 million viewers, making the White House event one of the most-watched cards in the promotion’s history.

Freedom 250 took place on June 14 at the White House in Washington, D.C., as part of the United States’ 250th birthday celebration. UFC noted every fight on the card ended by knockout or technical knockout, marking the first time an entire event has concluded without a submission or judges’ decision. The main event saw Justin Gaethje defeat Ilia Topuria via corner stoppage following the fourth round to capture the undisputed UFC lightweight championship.

The updated figures were released in a press release on June 26. According to UFC, the worldwide audience doubled after additional viewership data was received from several international markets, including Australia, China, India, South Korea, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

UFC had previously announced that the event attracted 17 million viewers on Paramount+ across the United States and Latin America. The promotion added that audience numbers from some international broadcasters are still being finalized and may change over the coming days and weeks.

“Following Paramount+’s recent announcement that UFC Freedom 250reached a record-breaking 17 million total viewers on the platform across the U.S. and Latin America, UFC® today announced that viewership in additional countries, including Australia, China, India, South Korea, New Zealand, and the U.K., has doubled the reported audience and increased total global viewership to an estimated 34 million people[i], making the landmark White House card one of the most-watched events in UFC history. Final global viewership totals reflect the standard reporting process for some international broadcasters, with audience data from certain markets finalized seven to 10 days after live events air. Several countries, including Spain and France, which had athletes headlining the card, will not report viewership until mid-July or later.”

Beyond the television audience, UFC reported record-breaking engagement across its digital platforms during fight week, which ran from June 8 through June 14. According to the press release, UFC content generated 126 billion social media views during that span. The company also reported 5 billion engagements and a 536,000-follower increase across its official social media accounts.

Instagram led all platforms with 68.6 billion impressions. Facebook followed with 42.3 billion, while TikTok generated 6.5 billion impressions. YouTube accounted for another 5.7 billion. UFC also stated that Freedom 250 was distributed in more than 170 countries through over 50 broadcast partners, giving the event a worldwide reach.
