As previously reported, Scott Steiner’s son, Brock Rechsteiner, was recently suspended by the NFL. However, his suspension reportedly hasn’t hindered the expectation that he might eventually transition to a career in wrestling and WWE once his NFL career wraps up. Dave Meltzer addressed the matter on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, and he believes that Rechsteiner will be in WWE “within a couple of months.

Meltzer said on Brock Rechsteiner, “I expect he will be WWE-bound within a couple months.” He continued on Rechsteiner’s chances of remaining on the New Orleans Saints, “I mean, suspended or not, he was a long shot to make the team. I mean, he wasn’t drafted or anything like that. The suspension can’t help his odds of making the team at all. He was suspended for six games, so when it comes to being cut, he’s probably getting cut.”

Meltzer added on Rechsteiner’s likely WWE future: “But his future is probably WWE, and he’s said as much as well. I think he’s giving the football a shot. It’s the exact same thing that Bronson had, where he wasn’t suspended, obviously, but he was in the Ravens camp, and he was cut. He was a long shot to make it, undrafted. Great athlete. I mean, his athletic numbers- Bronson’s athletic numbers were great. He had very good speed, great strength, but too short for his position, essentially for the NFL, which that’s just how they viewed it. And his cousin is a wide receiver, good-looking, good body. But yeah, I mean, I could see him in WWE easily and getting fast-tracked just like Bron.”

Brock’s cousin, of course, is current WWE Superstar and reigning World Tag Team Champion Bron Breakker, the son of Scott Steiner’s brother and Brock’s uncle, Rick Steiner. Breakker also had a stint in the NFL before later moving into wrestling and joining WWE to great success.

As previously noted, Scott Steiner said in January 2025 that Triple H offered his son a WWE NIL deal.
