Mustafa Ali Set to Return From Injury Later This Month

TNA International Champion Mustafa Ali’s return date has been revealed.

Ali has been out of action since sustaining fractured ribs and a punctured lung during the International Championship Steel Cage Match against Jason Hotch at last month’s Lockdown pay-per-view.

Though Mustafa Ali ended up regaining the International Title, it was later announced that he would be out of action for the foreseeable period.

On Saturday evening, Mustafa Ali took to social media to share a video in which his return was revealed. Ali will return to weekly programming on the September 24, 2026, episode of TNA iMPACT. The show will air live from the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.

“I almost died,” he wrote.

Earlier this month, on iMPACT, a number-one contender’s match for Ali’s International Championship took place between Trey Miguel and Jason Hotch. However, the bout ended in a no-contest after Ali’s ally Agent Zero interfered and attacked both competitors.
