Bully Ray Thinks LA Knight Should Have Played WWE Raw Promo With More Confidence

Bully Ray wasn’t feeling the hints of self-doubt LA Knight used in his promo against Roman Reigns on this week’s WWE Raw. Knight delivered an in-ring promo on Monday night’s show ahead of his match at WWE Money in the Bank, where he will challenge Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship. The challenger put over the match that Reigns had with Penta on the September 14th episode of Raw and noted that he has questioned if he could beat Reigns, before ultimately vowing to capture the championship.

Bully Ray critiqued the promo on Busted Open Radio and said that he wanted to see Knight project an attitude of confidence against Reigns. You can see highlights below (per Wrestling Inc):

On Knight Having Moments Of Self-Doubt In the Promo:

“I need to see LA Knight be extremely confident. I don’t need to see ego. I don’t need to see braggadocious. I like the fact that he was willing to put Roman and Penta over, especially giving Roman his props, but all that being said, ‘I’m still going on to Money in the Bank and I’m going to prove to you, Roman, how I wasn’t the guy for the past three years, but why I am the guy now.’ I don’t think there’s any room for the jokes or the self doubt for LA Knight.”

On What He Thinks Knight Should Have Said:

“‘The next time I hit you with a BFT, you’re going to hear ‘one, two, three’ and LA Knight will become your new World Heavyweight Champion.'”
