Backstage Update on Rumored Superstar Comeback to WWE

Is the realest guy in the room finally making his way back to WWE? PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingInc.com) has an update on Enzo Amore possibly making his long-awaited WWE return.

According to PWInsider Elite’s report, there is belief that Amore has signed a new contract to return to WWE over the last week. The outlet is reportedly still working to confirm his return to the company. The outlet also notes that one source believes that Amore is on his way back to the NXT brand.

As previously reported, Amore is rumored to have “had talks” with WWE earlier this year, and it’s also said he’s interested in a return. His former tag team partner, Big Cass did return, joining the main roster on Raw earlier this year. Many thought that Amore and Cass might return to WWE together, but Cass appeared on Raw without Amore.

Additionally, Amore was reportedly seen at the Performance Center earlier in May, sparking speculation for a possible comeback. WWE has yet to announce a return for Enzo Amore to the company.

Cass is currently in a heel role on Raw and aligned with Ethan Page. The duo defeated Dragon Lee & Chad Gable on Monday Night Raw last week.
