Mick Foley Praises Megan Bayne’s Performance In AEW Blood & Guts Match
Mick Foley is a big believer in Megan Bayne, and gave the AEW star hefty props after last night’s Blood & Guts episode of AEW Dynamite. The women’s Blood & Guts match was a violent affair in which Willow Nightingale, Queen Aminata, Wrathlander, and the Brawling Birds defeated Persephone, Divine Dominion, and the Triangle of Madness.
Bayne started out the match against Kris Statlander and was busted open early, then proceeded to work the entirety of the 45 minute clash. Foley posted to his Instagram stories to comment during the match, noting at early on, “I hope Megan is ok… that is a lot of blood.”
After the match was done, he wrote in a stories post:
“Years from now, when we look at the career of @themeganbayne this will be one of the matches that defines it. #BloodAndGuts @aew”
Foley also shared a photo of himself bowing down to a bloodied Bayne after the match, writing:
“@themeganbayne – this humble hardcore servant gladly bows down before thee! @themeganbayne @aew

It was reported this morning that everyone in both the men’s and women’s Blood & Guts matches were “okay” afterward, with no serious injuries.
