G4 Pulls All Upcoming Episodes Of Arena, Note On Issues Between WWE & G4

It appears G4 and WWE’s The Arena will not air anymore episodes, and a new report notes that there were issues between the two companies. As reported last week, Comcast announced that it was shuttering the gaming network after just under a year. Xavier Woods was a host for G4 and the network put together a revival of Arena with WWE, but the Washington Post had reported after news of the shutdown that the entire crew quit the series before G4 was shut down.

PWInsider reports that the network, which has not yet been closed down completely, has pulled all upcoming episodes of Arena including repeats. There was an episode that was taped featuring Bayley and TYler Breeze that went unaired. The site also notes that issues popped up between the two sides after Brian Terwilliger, the former WWE executive who helped with the launch of Woods’ UpUpDownDown, exited the company amid layoffs. Those issues are believed to have been a factor in the crew quitting.
