Mortal Kombat 11 Finished With New DLC Characters
What we have is what we’re getting in Mortal Kombat 11, as NetherRealm announced there will be no more DLC coming for the game. The game studio revealed on Friday that they have moved on to focus entirely on their next game and that there will be no more DLC, including characters, for the 2019 game.
Since its release Mortal Kombat 11 has seen a steady stream of DLC from NetherRealm including franchise favorites like Mileena, Rain, and Shang Tsung, as well as out-of-franchise fighters including Rambo, the Terminator, and RoboCop. The last DLC for the game dropped with the MK11 Ultimate Edition in November of last year.
NetherRealm has yet to announce the next game, though there has been a lot of speculation about a new Injustice: Gods Among Us game or a Marvel fighting game. Neither game has been confirmed as of yet.
NetherRealm is now focusing on its next project and after more than two years of supporting Mortal Kombat 11, DLC for the game, including characters, has come to an end.
