A.J. McKee Signs Multi-Fight Extension With Bellator
A.J. McKee will stay with Bellator for the time being. Bellator officials have announced that the undefeated featherweight prospect has signed a new multi-fight contract extension.
“A.J. McKee is an incredibly talented and exciting mixed martial artist,” said Bellator President Scott Coker in the announcement. “In his first three fights, he’s proved he can finish an opponent in various ways, and he’s got the style and charisma to match his fighting skills. We have many of the best featherweights in the world fighting for Bellator, and A.J. has left no doubt in my mind that he belongs in that group.”
McKee made his pro debut under Bellator, beating Marcos Bonilla by first round submission at Bellator 136. He’s had two other wins with the promotion since at Bellator 141 in August and Bellator 147 this month.
