Speaking at the post-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 111 (via MMAjunkie), UFC fighter Colby Covington discussed his win over Dong Hyun Kim. Covington won the fight by unanimous decision. Below are some highlights.

Covington on beating Kim: “He hasn’t lost to anyone outside of the top five. The champion (Tyron Woodley), the No. 1 contender (Demian Maia) – no one has dominated him like that. I completely dismantled him. I beat him every second of every round. There’s some good things to take away from it, but I’m still improving and you haven’t seen the best Colby Covington yet.”

Covington on beating the No. 7 fighter in the division: “I’m dominating these guys. I just dominated the No. 7 guy in the world (in the official UFC rankings). No one has dominated him like that. This is officially the embarrassment tour. I embarrassed him in Asia tonight and I’m going to keep embarrassing the division. It doesn’t matter how I beat them, the way I’m beating them – this is easy money, bro.”

On making a statement: “It’s definitely a statement win. Look what I just did. 30-25 (scorecards). I beat him every second of every round. It wasn’t even competitive out there. I didn’t even break out a sweat out there. I’m just getting warmed up. You haven’t seen the best of me yet. Same thing would have happened with Rafael dos Anjos. He’s scared – he’s been ducking me for a long time. There’s a reason he didn’t fight me tonight, and this is the reason.”

His thoughts on Tyron Woodley: “I know Tyron Woodley got tired just watching us at home. Last time I trained with him, it wasn’t even competitive. He gets tired just watching this. I’ll break him in half.”
