March 4, 2018 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

UFC bantamweight fighter John Dodson spoke to reporters in a media scrum (via MMAjunkie) after his win over Pedro Munhoz. Below are some highlights from the scrum.

John Dodson on going out for his fight at UFC 22: “I was just going out there having fun, enjoying life. I have my family outside. I have my kids, my wife and my brother. I’m good to go.”

Dodson on the low blows: “I was just like, f-ck it, let’s just keep on going. No point deduction. This fight’s almost over. I need one more child, and I think he’s going to stop that right now.”

Dodson on if this is his last fight in the UFC: “Nah, that’s highly unlikely. Because what is the UFC going to do without my bubbly personality and my beautiful smile?”

Dodson on his mentality for the fight: “If the UFC cuts me, whatever. If the UFC brings me back, hell yeah. I’m going to go knock out anybody that’s going to be in my way. It doesn’t matter whether within the UFC or not. Or, I’ll put on an awesome performance, and hopefully, my nuts don’t get kicked in the next fight.”

Dodson on what’s next for him: “Honestly, I don’t want to go anywhere else, because I love the UFC so much. If they don’t love me as much as I love them, then I’ll go somewhere else, and my heart will be broken. But this doesn’t mean that this is the last ride for me.”
