Marcin Tybura Signs Deal With UFC
MMA Junkie reports that Marcin Tybura (13-1 MMA) has signed a deal with the UFC. He trains with UFC veterans Jan Blachowicz and Daniel Omielanczuk, along with world’s strongest man winner Mariusz Pudzianowski. He is also a former M-1 heavyweight champion.
He said: “I’m extremely happy to have signed a contract with the UFC. It’s a big step up for me and a significant challenge. As of now, I don’t have any details on my debut fight, but I’m constantly in fight shape and wish to fight soon.”
Tybura has 11 stoppage wins in 13 wins total, with only one loss. His past eight fights were in M-1, with a 7-1 record. All seven wins were by stoppage. He has six submission wins and five knockouts. He also has a submission win over Damian Grabovski (August 2014), who will debut for the UFC at UFC 196 in Las Vegas against Derrick Lewis.
