Michael Bisping Joins Cast of xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

Michael Bisping has been bitten by the acting bug. The UFC fighter took to Instagram today to reveal that he’s signed on to play a role in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. Bisping joins Vin Diesel, Ariadna GutierrezDonnie Yen, Ruby Rose, Tony Collette, Tony Jaa, Nina Dobrev and Samuel L. Jackson in the series, which will release in January of next year.

The new film finds extreme athlete turned government operative Xander Cage (Diesel) coming out of self-imposed exile and on a collision course with deadly alpha warrior Xiang and his team in a race to recover a sinister and seemingly unstoppable weapon known as Pandora’s Box. Recruiting an all-new group of thrill-seeking cohorts, Xander finds himself enmeshed in a deadly conspiracy that points to collusion at the highest levels of world governments.
