NJPW Alumnus Michael Craven Joins RIZIN Fighting Federation

Michael Craven, the former GM of NJPW, has joined the RIZIN Fighting Federation. Justin Barrasso of Undisputed reports that Craven has taken a position with RIZIN, which is the top MMA organization in Japan.

Craven was General Manager of NJPW in 2019, when the company was partnering with ROH and expanding into North America. He left the company in 2021 for famili reasons.

Barrasso reports that Craven’s role in RIZIN will be similar to his old NJPW role, as he’s tasked with expanding their international footprint and “diversifying its fan base.”
