Teruto Ishihara Discusses His UFC Fight Night 99 Bout With Artem Lobov

MMAjunkie recently interviewed UFC fighter Teruto Ishihara ahead of his fight with Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night 99. The fight is set for later today in Belfast, Ireland. Below are some highlights.

Ishihara on the fight being a big opportunity for him: “Everything’s going my way. This is a huge fight for me and it’s a huge opportunity for me. I’m happy that I get this opportunity.”

Ishihara on UFC telling him to tone it down with his language: “The UFC, not scolded me, but told me, ‘Let’s lay off on that word, and to respect the ladies of course.’ I don’t understand at all.”

His thoughts on Artem Lobov: “He has two big hammers on both sides, I can respect that, but I also have a beautiful katana on my left hand. I want the fans to enjoy that battle between the hammer and the katana sword, and let’s party it up after.”
