UFC 190: Rousey vs. Correia Drug Test Results

August 26, 2015 | Posted by Larry Csonka

According to MMAjunkie.com, Comissao Atletica Brasileira de MMA (CABMMA), MMA’s regulatory body in Brazil, announced that all fighters who were drug tested at UFC 190 came back clean. They did not disclose which fighters or how many were tested, though blood and urine samples were taken. Here is CABMMA’s statement…

The athletes were subject to a comprehensive testing program that consisted of both blood and urine collections. All results came back negative.

The urine and blood samples were collected by a team of Doping Control Officers (DCO), all of whom are certified in accordance with the WADA International Standards, and sent to WADA-accredited laboratories for analysis.

All sample collections were conducted by personnel from CABMMA or the Brazilian Authority for Doping Control (ABCD), with representatives from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) present during the sample collection process as well.

CABMMA has adopted the UFC Anti-Doping Policy which will guide all CABMMA testing at sanctioned bouts.
